  • Wow!! While reading your story, all I could think about is Luke 6:38: Give… and he will cause men to give into your bosom. Also, Staying strong, positive, supportive, and full of faith shows that God definitely has his hands on your life, which is phenomenal. Thank you, your family, and your donor for sharing this incredible journey, and the birthing of, “Be Not Afraid” a life changing organization that is going to save so many lives for God loves a cheerful giver!!

  • Thank you, Melony, for your gifted ability to share your own journey and that of others. Carla embodies what an Overcomer look and live like. We so appreciate your ministry and willingness to use your talents to help these amazing women. Cathie, you are, indeed, an angel ?

  • Cathie you are an incredible person and it’s a true blessing to call you a friend all these years. My dad was a kidney recipient in 1990. I wish I had the opportunity to thank his donor family for giving my dad 12 more years with us. God Bless both of you and prayers to a speedy recovery.

  • Praise God! Carla, I have been praying for you and your donor, standing on His promises! Andrea has openly shared your story with us on FB, and I am thankful for that as I know God is faithful for all He has chosen and who follow Him. What a blessing and inspiration to me you have been….. being a 5th grade teacher in her late 50’s with a 27 year old autistic, mentally challenged daughter, I often feel fatigued…… but having the ability to follow your story gives me hope and deepens my faith! If you are willing, I would love to know the date or around the date of your surgery so I can be specifically praying for you and your amazing donor! God Bless you, Carla!

  • What a journey this lady has been on. What a blessing to have someone volunteer to be a donor. God is good. I pray that he will take good care of both of them. Carla, you have been a brave and courageous person to deal with what you have been handed. May God richly bless you.

  • Carla, you are an inspiration! Your determination and positive attitude radiate throughout your story and I know others will be encouraged. I was so touched by your burden for others amidst your struggle in pinpointing the need for live donor tracking. Your future is so bright! May God bless you in your recovery and in your non-profit!!

  • Thank you, Carla and Melony, for sharing this story, and what an incredible story it is. Carla’s fighting spirit and her donors compassion are unmatched. Both will certainly inspire others when faced with struggles that require patience, endurance, and support from others. May God continue to bless you as you share and encourage so many.

  • Carla, I pray the surgery is successful. You have suffered a long time and I am sure you are weary. God is for you. Blessings!

  • Small world/big blessings Carla has been our family doctor and our neighbor since Grace was born, Cathie worked closely with me at SFUMC pre-school parent club, I can’t think of two more amazing women, I’m not surprised they are a match because they are both angels on earth. I’m lifting them both in prayer, and will be thinking of them tomorrow during the surgery and will continue to pray for them both. What a great gift and opportunity to give and overcome. Love you both and I’m sending love prayers and positive thoughts your way.
    God bless

    • Thank you, Candy, for sharing your story. You are an inspiration and a beautiful woman of God. I am so happy that God brought John into your life; you deserve all the happiness that is possible in this life.

  • Candy, Your life definitely exemplifies dependence on God. Although it has been rough through the years, faith, hope, and charity has definitely been the backbone of your life. And John was right, you are very beautiful. Thank you!!

  • Candy, I am sorry you had to endure so much pain. What a courageous journey! I praise God for giving you a happy ending. Blessings!

  • Candy, your story is so inspiring! We met last year when I taught your sweet granddaughter, MT, at Gracepoint. I love your daughter as well! Your story has so many important reminders. My favorite is that no one can take Jesus away from us. I believe your story will help carry many others who are suffering through very dark days. It is greatly encouraging when we can see how God has brought someone else through a difficult situation. Thank you so much!!

  • Beautiful story of your journey so happy you have found peace and happiness in your new chapter. Thank you for sharing ?☀️

  • An amazing story of God’s transformation – from suffering to a zillion blessings. I’m so blessed by your willingness to give up your rights, lay them down at the feet of Jesus, and trust Him to make miracles happen. You are beautiful inside and out!

  • This is such a reminder that God has a unique path for each of us — and what the world sees as awful, Candy has made precious!

  • An amazing story! It takes so much courage to face such a scary situation and turn it into a catalyst for loving and living in faith.

  • What a great story of overcoming! I’m sure it was a long and difficult road! Very inspiring!

  • Thank you for taking the time to post your comments.

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Isn’t it amazing how God uses the stories of His children to encourage others? Just look at the stories in Scripture!! No one is exempt from hard places in life. BUT, as Scripture says:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:35
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.!” Romans 8:37

For the Christian, we have hope not only for life here on this earth, but for Eternity!!!! That’s a story to share with everyone!

While I’m sad we don’t really talk any more, I wish you nothing but the best and lots of love!! xx

    • I really appreciate these kind words, Olivia. You are such a light in the world and I’m thankful for the friendship we shared.

  • This is my granddaughter ❤️ No matter the personal struggles, she has always put others before herself and has been brave for her family. She is blessed beyond measure with a pure heart and such a sweet spirit. For her cousins: Jasmine, Isabella and Anya she is their hero….mine too! ?????

    • I am blessed beyond measures with such a loving and supportive family! I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you guys! You’re the best Grandmother around… xoxo

  • Raimee thank you for sharing your inspiring testimony. Your strength is remarkable. You are such a blessing!

  • Thank you for sharing your story, Raimee. You’re stronger than I could ever be and You’re such an inspirational and strong young lady! Keep smiling and continue to lean on Jesus. Love you!

  • Raime, you are such an incredible, strong,, beautiful woman! I feel blessed to have read your whole story here. You have had so much strength through so much adversity. I’m glad you have learned on your faith… Sometimes it’s all we can do. Hang on to that and God will get you through. ❤️

  • Somewhere along the way this little girl had a spiritual gift poured in to her. As we have gotten older and more mature her mother and I have gained insite in to how the world works. I remember once when she was very young her mother and I were having a spiritual conversation and Raimee added something. We just looked at each other. It was something no 8 or 9 year old should have knowledge of or awareness of. But she demonstrated a knowledge of the topic showing a total grasp of the topic. We later said she is an old soul. “She been her before!” Her trials have proven to purify her soul for whatever her higher purpose is. I absolutely love being part of her life and can’t wait for the adult version of her to shine.

  • Raimee is a fierce, funny, smart, and a beautiful warrior who’s smile can light up a room. I am thankful that I know this incredible woman and beyond thankful god choose her mother to share this life with her. ❤️

  • It has taken me a minute to decide what I wanted to say. To read these words and to have direct quotes from Raimee shook me when I realized how she sees her future. This world has no idea how much I love this girl and what I have done for her to try and give her a better outlook. At times, I feel like such a failure with her and then she says something or does something that reminds me who she is. She is a cherished daughter of God and she has big things to do for Him in this life. At 12, she brought a group of high school senior football players to their knees with her story and many of them committed their lives right then to the Kingdom of God. I stand in awe of her and the power God has given her to command a room. I can’t wait to see what she does with the next chapter He is writing for her. I love you Raimee. More than every grain of sand and every star in the sky and I could not thank God more for giving me the privilege of raising you. ❤️

    • You sure know how to make a girl cry. Thank you for everything momma. Words can’t describe the amount of love I have for you. You held my hand, and through everything, you never let me lose sight of God and His plan. YOU are a blessing.

  • Wow, what a story. This brought tears to my eyes. But it made my heart pound in my chest as I read your encouraging words. Your faith is so strong. If only people had your courage, Your strength, your faith in their minor circumstances as you do in your major circumstances. You are a light, an example to others. Thank you for sharing this touching story and being an example of God’s work and light in the flesh. May you find courage each day to stay strong. So many love you and are praying for to you!

  • Raimee what an inspiration you are to so many who find themselves in the face of adversity be it big or small. My face started out wet with sadness for the little girl in the hip surgery photo but the tears quickly become tears of joy at the picture of you and your mama because of the support and love that surrounds you to tears of pure elation, pride, and hope in the message of strength that you share. Strength found in Christ. When you question why me… please remember that through your struggle and pain comes a much needed message of hope, survival, endurance, and a love and need for our Heavenly Father for SO MANY. You are beautiful inside and out. I am blessed to know you and your incredible story.

  • We never know what someone else is dealing with. As a life long nurse I always keep this in the back of my mind. I think you look great in the video!! Hope that you are having better days.

  • I love you Tiffy! Thanks for sharing your authentic self and your story. Even through your cloudy days you bring sunshine to others. Keep being you. You are educating and inspiring so many. Praying for you. xoxo

  • Tiffy, you are amazing! Thank you for sharing your story and showing us we can get through any of life’s trials, if we will lean on the everlasting arms of our Lord and if we will just keep going. I am so happy you didn’t give up and you continue to overcome.

  • Tiffy you are such a great example for keeping a positive attitude even on your worst days-reading your story has certainly inspired me and many others; keep the faith and know that God is always with you in your struggles.

    • Sandra,
This disease can be very trying but through faith and a positive attitude it makes it much easier. Don’t think I never get negative because I do. I just now know that the negativity is pain. So I try to control the pain and it helps me to be more positive.

  • I am proud and honored to be your caregiver! Love you!!!

  • Thank you for sharing…I have participated in several MS fundraiser bike rides over the years because I have seen the effects on a dear friend and her family. When I ride again it I will be adding another name to my jersey.

    • Robbin,
That brings tears to my eyes! Good tears of coarse. Thank you for helping all of the MSers out there! So many of us would love to be riding but cannot because of heat sensitivity or like me, riding a bike would either be comical or dangerous!! Lol I am honored to be on your jersey! God bless you friend!!!!

  • Tiffy……..your story is amazing, as are YOU! Thank you for sharing your journey! Keep “faith it til you make it.” Indeed, your faith shines through in this story! Continue to lean on God and your faith! Without faith, we have NOTHING! It is so apparent faith has brought you a long way. God is faithful and He sees the pain you face on your bad days. Your attitude reminds me of Psalm 92:4 “For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.” You are His incredible handiwork!! So, continue rejoicing,on good and bad days! YOU are an OVERCOMER!

    Blessings,
    Sherry

    • Thank you so much! It isn’t always easy to have the faith it till you make it attitude. But I’m trying really hard to keep my attitude positive. God has me on this journey for a reason . Not sure what it is but I try and have compassion for everyone. Because we all have battles, some can be seen and some cannot. I try to give people the benefit because I don’t know what they may be battling. I just wish others would stop and think that way . Thank you for your support. It truly means the world to me. Knowing I have people praying for me that I do not know is incredible,

  • Tiffy, I am in awe of your loving strength, will and devotion to our God, your wonderful husband and 2 loving sons!!! Your story is an inspiration to me! God has His loving Jehovah Rapha hand on you giving you all these positive characteristics you are showing to us all!!! I made a note to myself that your favorite verse is 2 Sam 22:33, so, now it is one of mine, too. I will remember you and pray for you in the days ahead and yes, you are an overcomer, already and forever will be!!!
    God Bless and Keep you,
    Ann

  • Five years ago, I went numb from the waist down. After quite a few MRI’s, spinal tap, I was diagonsed with Multiple Sclerosis. I was on Avenox for almost 2 years, i had 1 year of monthly steroids IV, had to stop due to hip pain. Through my physiotherapist i learnt about a MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS HERBAL TREATMENT from R.H.F. (RichHerbs Herbal Foundation) and their success rate with the treatment, i immediately started on the MS treatment, i experienced decline in major symptoms including hand tremor, back pain, difficulty walking, muscle paralysis and weakness, uncomfortable tingling and burning, fatigue, urinary retention, double vision, slurred speech difficulty swallowing, numbness. Visit ww w. richherbsfoundation. c om. I knew that a positive attitude is everything and to just believe, I’m in control of my life again….

  • Thank you for all of the love and support! I’m honored to be able to share my story. I pray that someone will see this and realize that this disease is not a death sentence. Is it hard, Yes! However your attitude is everything. Please feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk…..

  • Thank you for sharing your story so others can know there is help.

  • My father had this disease for 29 years until he died at 69. He experienced many issues but lived for many years in a wheel chair. Fortunately he was never bed ridden.

He then took those fears and turned them into courage and faith. Cori has shared with me how God has given her strength. Strength to fight, strength to share and strength in her faith. She is already helping others that are now fighting this cancer! The insight she can share and the support she can give is a gift. I am so proud of her strength, courage and perseverance through this battle. I will always be in awe of her strength, but what I received from her is far more valuable…… my faith has deepened.
